British in Kenya

Terms & Conditions

Last updated 14 September 2026.

These Terms govern your use of the British in Kenya platform. By creating an account you agree to use the platform honestly and only for its intended purpose of accessing youth-empowerment programs, events and opportunities.

Eligibility and accounts. You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

Membership and payments. Membership plans state their price, duration and benefits before payment. Payments are processed through Paystack; British in Kenya never stores your card number, M-Pesa PIN, or other payment credentials — only the transaction reference and status needed to activate your membership and for reconciliation. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise for a specific plan.

Referrals, points and cashout. Each member has a unique referral code. Referring a member who takes up a paid membership earns points and, once you have referred enough paying members, makes you eligible to request a cashout for a fixed payout amount. Cashout requests are reviewed by a finance administrator and, once approved, paid out via Paystack Transfer to the payout details you provide; approval may require one-time-passcode (OTP) verification. A referral can only be used to fund one cashout. We may adjust, pause, decline, or reverse points and cashouts in cases of abuse, fraud, fake accounts, or error, and reward rules may change going forward.

Prohibited conduct. You may not create fake or duplicate accounts, manipulate referrals, misrepresent yourself, or attempt to defraud the platform, other members, or our payment providers. Violations may result in suspension of your account, forfeiture of pending points or cashouts, and reporting to relevant authorities where warranted.

Content and conduct on the platform. Programs, lessons, and other materials we publish remain our property or that of our licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, or resell them without permission.

Suspension and termination. We may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms. You may stop using the platform and request account deletion at any time via the Contact page.

Liability. The platform is provided on an as-is basis. To the extent permitted by law, British in Kenya is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform.

Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Questions about these Terms can be sent through the Contact page.
